Summer Studies

Summer Studies Course Guide 2021-2022

The Saint Andrew’s Summer Studies program is designed as an extension of the academic year for our students, as well as students from outside of the school. There are offerings for students entering grades 9 - 12. For our new students, the Summer Studies program provides a wonderful opportunity to get to know our faculty, to experience our campus, and to make friends with classmates.

Options for Students Entering Grades 9 - 12
We continue to deliver many of the courses typically offered during past Summer Study sessions. This summer, courses will be offered virtually, where students will interact with faculty through daily “live” Google Meet sessions, while completing work independently (asynchronously) during designated times within each class. Courses are condensed over a 6 week period for year-long classes, over a 3 week period for semester classes, and over a 2 week period for half-semester and non-credit offerings. Year-long and semester courses will meet daily for four hours each day. Half-semester and non-credit offerings will meet daily for three hours each day. Students need to be prepared for the pace and workload associated with this type of learning model.
