Our intermediate Boys lacrosse camp will focus on developing skills which will quickly move to more advanced concepts.
Using a combination of position specific work coupled with small field games, campers will learn to play the right way, play loose, and have fun. They will get opportunities to put the newly-learned skills into action each session.
Some skills that we will focus on: Groundballs Dodging to the goal Playing position defense Shooting philosophy Even-man, extra-man, and man-down concepts. Our staff prides themselves on teaching players both the mental aspect of the game and the physical aspect. Players need to understand why things are done while learning how to do them. This develops the total lacrosse player.
Campers will need a stick, gloves, helmet, shoulder pads, mouthpiece, cleats. Athletic supporter recommended but not mandatory.
