This week, we were honored by a visit from Mike Domitrz, the founder of The Center for Respect, who spoke with our parents and Upper School students about the importance of healthy and safe boundaries in relationships.
With our parents, Mike shared how to engage our tweens and teens in conversations about knowing their worth and how to help them make sure others respect it.
With our Upper School students, Mike shared how to recognize when they or their peers make unhealthy choices and provided them with tools they can use in uncomfortable and potentially dangerous social situations. The immediate feedback from parents and students was that the presentations were engaging and packed with essential information!
We hope these events will lead to great conversations among our students and with their parents, with everyone feeling better equipped to talk more about this important topic.
