Upper School Thespians Shine at 2025 District 10 Thespys Festival

The Upper School Thespians continued their tradition of high marks at the 2025 District 10 Thespys Festival at Palm Beach Central High School on Saturday, December 13. Students performed and presented in a variety of individual and small-group events, achieving two scores of Good, seven scores of Excellent, and ten scores of Superior.  

Even more than their scores, troupe director Dr. Mandy Albert is proud of the exceptional comportment of our students throughout the day, especially the compliments they received from the judges in the Pantomime and Stage Management event room, where they volunteered as timekeepers and doorkeepers.

  • Jordan Jaffe '27 and Skyler Lipman '27; Blair Rutherford '29, and Isadora Sturari '27 - Duet Musical
  • Jordan Jaffe '27 and Isadora Sturari '27; Merritt Kanzer '28, and Wilda Widmark '28; Daniella Perlin '26 and Maggie Worrilow '26 - Duet Acting

Superior

  • Alejandra Hafner '26, Jordan Jaffe '27, Bella Nazzaro '28, Guy Riskind '28, Al Seymour '28, Isadora Sturari '27 - Solo Musical
  • Emma Bachrodt '26 and Skyler Lipman '27 - Duet Acting
  • Bella Nazzaro '28 and Guy Riskind '28 - Duet Musical
  • Merritt Kanzer '28, Blake Roberts '28 - Playwriting

In addition, Bella Nazzaro's '28 Solo Musical was selected as the Critics' Choice performance for her event room, giving her the opportunity to perform in the Critics' Choice Showcase during the closing ceremony.

Six of the Superior-rated performances, plus a Superior-rated play, will now be adjudicated at the Florida State Thespian Festival in March. Congratulations to our Thespians!
