Dr. Matt Zakreski Visits Saint Andrew’s

Dr. Matt Zakreski speaking at the SAPA Breakfast

During the last week of January, Saint Andrew's School was delighted to welcome Dr. Matt Zakreski, who brought both his deep clinical expertise and his effervescent personality to our campus. It was a couple of days of connection and learning, as Dr. Zakreski engaged with a wide array of our community members, including faculty, parents, and students in both the Middle and Upper Schools.

Dr. Zakreski is a clinical psychologist and educator who covers a vital range of topics designed to support student well-being and success, including how to help our students develop their executive functioning and social skills, to support their ability to regulate their emotions, and to manage the pressures they perceive in pursuit of perfectionism. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive!

For those who were unable to attend the parents and caregivers session, we are pleased to announce that a recording of the presentation is available here. Additionally, Dr. Zakreski has generously offered to share the slides from all of his presentations (available at the links below), in the hopes that these resources will continue to support and guide our community.
