A Celebration of Visual Arts at the Boca Raton Museum of Art

An extraordinary evening was had at the Boca Raton Museum of Art on Monday, March 3. The energy and creativity of the Saint Andrew’s community were on full display, with over 600 members of the Scots family coming together to celebrate the arts in unprecedented numbers.

The stunning cross-divisional showcase featured works from Lower, Middle, and Upper School artists. One of the most delightful elements of the night was the interactive displays, including an innovative gumball machine that dispensed Middle School mini-artworks, a popular button-making station for the youngest artists, and beautiful musical accompaniments performed by the talented Middle School Intermediate Orchestra and Upper School Guitar Ensemble.

Particularly impressive was the remarkable diversity of artwork on display. From professional-caliber ceramics and thought-provoking sculptures to captivating photography, expressive drawings and paintings, innovative mixed-media pieces, and collaborative works—the talent of Saint Andrew’s students truly shone through.

None of this would have been possible without the passion and dedication of the Visual Arts faculty:

  • Visual Arts Department Chair: Jennifer Schultz
  • Lower School: Lark Keeler
  • Middle School: Stacey Parrish and Adriana Ranieri
  • Upper School: Megan Dejo and Chuck Pawlik

The Friends of the Arts parent organization's tireless efforts and the support of parent and student volunteers also played a crucial role in the event’s success. The Music Department, led by Director August Berger and Assistant Director Ruby Berland, deserved special recognition for creating the perfect atmospheric backdrop for the evening.

This event beautifully exemplified Saint Andrew’s spirit of unity and excellence. As Jennifer Schultz eloquently expressed, "The arts bring people together; this is what it's all about!"

Building on this tremendous success, the school is already looking forward to future arts celebrations. The enthusiasm and talent displayed served as a reminder of why Saint Andrew’s continues to be a beacon for arts education.
