World Language teachers recently gathered in Kissimmee, FL for the Florida Foreign Language Association (FFLA) Conference, which featured over 100 workshops that provided exceptional professional development opportunities, including a wellness session led by Upper School Spanish teacher Stephanie Shepherd.
The conference also recognized the accomplishments of Upper School Spanish teacher Anita Orr and Lower School Chinese teacher Haihong Zhao, both of whom received the Most Valuable Teacher Award.
Dr. Elle Anthony, Chair of the World Languages Department, was honored with the FFLA 2024 President's Leadership Award for her exemplary leadership and contributions to the association.
