Saint Andrew's student working in Ceramics class.

Upper School Ceramic students are exploring Jōmon pottery, a type of ancient Japanese ceramic known for its distinctive rope-like surface patterns. Through this project, students are developing hand-building techniques for constructing vessels, experimenting with surface textures, and discovering various approaches to hand-building.
