Thespians One-Act Play

Students perform in one act play.

The Upper School Thespians have begun work on their production of the one-act play Trifles by Susan Glaspell, which they will perform next school year at the Florida Thespians District 10 Festival of One-Act Plays. The students chose this play - an unconventional murder mystery - because they connected with its story and themes despite its being more than 100 years old. This entirely student-run production will be co-directed by Jordan Jaffe '27 and Skyler Lipman '27 and stage-managed by Allegra Seymour '28, with lighting design by Lauren Corlew '27. Gwyneth Goldstein '25, Merritt Kanzer '28, Guy Riskind '28, Blake Roberts '28, and Andrew Zhao '25 make up the ensemble cast. Thespians troupe director, Dr. Albert, commends our theatre students for their initiative and the hard work they have already done at a busy time in the school year. We look forward to continuing our rehearsals in August!
