Tartan Singers Performs with State High School Honor Choir

The Tartan Singers traveled to Miami on Friday, October 20, and participated in the State High School Honor Choir at the University of Miami. They rehearsed and performed under the direction of Dr. Amanda Quist, Director of Choral Studies at Miami, and also with nationally renowned composer, Jake Runestad.

With three hundred high school students, our students rehearsed, prepared, and performed three compositions by Jake Runestad in the Gusman Auditorium at the Frost School of Music.

Our choral singers included Sara Rudelman Cohen ‘27, Nathalie Faresi ‘24, Andrew Feng ‘25, Miyu Fujimoto‘24, Colin Pierce ‘27, Anish Ramdin ‘24, and Camryn Williams ‘24. Our Choral Director, James Balmer, prepared the students for this festival with the assistance of Dr. Li.
