Get Moving and the Hispanic Honor Society hosted Spring Clean for a Cause on Friday, February 23, in the Cohen Center.
Students were asked to donate 4 or 5 articles of clothing each and were treated to a delicious array of Hispanic cuisine representing different Latin American countries. Some of the food that students had the chance to try included guava pastries, savory empanadas, rich flan, alfajores, and fruit juices.
By the time the event was over, there were four bins and multiple bags filled with over 90 articles of clothing! The clothing will be donated to various communities within Monterrey, Mexico.
