South Florida Guitar Solo & Ensemble Evaluation

Congratulations to the Guitar students who participated in the Guitar Solo & Ensemble Evaluation Festival at American Heritage School in Plantation on Saturday, April 6.

Students from the Intermediate and Guitar Ensemble classes showcased their talents through ensemble pieces, with four students also presenting individual solo repertoire.

The Guitar Ensemble students achieved a Superior rating for their performances of two ensemble pieces, La Cumparsita and Prism. Ensemble members included Sophie Chew ’25, Jack Helmke ’25, Jack Jiang ’24, and Sean Silverman ’25.

The Intermediate Guitar students achieved a Superior rating for their performance of the ensemble piece Variations on Folias D’España. Ensemble members included Andrew Cabrera-Hock ’28, Teddy Breeden ’27, Shane Virtue ’27, and Jack Williams ’27.

The following students each earned individual ratings for their solo performances.
