Scot Stars – April

April Scot Stars

Congratulations to Peter Garcia, Carter Duggan, and Wilda Widmark for being recognized as our most recent Scot Stars!

Scot Stars is an honor that acknowledges students who have demonstrated upstanding character and respect by acting as role models for our Middle School community. Every two weeks, faculty and staff members in each grade come together to nominate and recognize a student.

Grade 6 - Peter Garcia: Peter excels both inside and outside the classroom. As a Scot, he's known for his reliability in supporting his peers, always doing what's right, and making positive contributions through his words and actions. With a strong balance of diligence and wisdom, Peter consistently makes smart choices, even in challenging situations. Fearless in the face of obstacles, he approaches them with insight and determination. Being independent and respectful towards his classmates, Peter naturally emerges as a leader and role model among his peers.

Grade 7 - Carter Duggan: This Scot star has shown exemplary character and dedication to both his studies and our community. He consistently demonstrates courtesy and respect towards peers and teachers alike, fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere in our school. Despite facing challenges such as absences, Carter doesn't shy away from putting in the extra effort to catch up on missed work, showing admirable commitment and responsibility. His integrity shines through in every interaction, earning him the trust and respect of those around them. Moreover, Carter recently took on the initiative to host a 'Scot for a Day', showcasing his leadership and willingness to share his Scot spirit with others.

Grade 8 - Wilda Widmark: Wilda exemplifies what it means to be a Scot. She is hard-working, empathic, involved in the community, and a passionate learner, bringing a sense of positivity and dedication to everything she does. Wilda openly shares her talents and ideas with Saint Andrew's students, teachers, and staff, and we are all better people because of it.
