Sisters Ava '31 and Maya Scarfone '32 are making waves in the world of musical theater.

Ava has been invited to open for the legendary New York City Rockettes, a dream opportunity for any young performer. Maya is currently starring in a local production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, captivating audiences with her playful stage presence and talent.

This holiday season, Ava and Maya will also be performing together in the Big Apple. Ava will also take on the starring role of Amelia and Maya will be stepping into the role of Briana in the KOTA's Production of The Great Christmas Cookie Bake Off, which will run in Times Square. The festive production promises to showcase both Ava and Maya’s talents and is sure to bring holiday cheer to audiences far and wide.

Maya credits her love of musical theater and acting to the inspiration and guidance of her teacher, Mrs. Thompson. “I’m so thankful for Mrs. Thompson,” Maya says. “She encouraged me to follow my dreams and helped me discover my passion for performing.”

The Scarfone Sisters are rising stars to watch and we look forward to cheering them on as they continue to light up stages near and far.
