Mr. Shapiro and Mr. Beekmeyer hosted distinguished scholars at the Saint Andrew's House for a breakfast this week to honor academic excellence. After opening remarks from Mr. Shapiro, Mr. Beekmeyer introduced the grade 9 student scholars who are the most recent award recipients of the Distinguished Scholar Award, a merit-based scholarship awarded to students entering grade 9. Dr. Bouressa, Director of College Guidance, then shared a few words on the importance of engagement and how finding one's passion is a key part of being a distinguished student.
