Last Wednesday, 12 students who are members of Roundsquare visited the JARC center in Boca Raton to help facilitate some arts and crafts projects.
JARC Florida provides programs and services to educate and empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The Roundsquare group brought arts and crafts supplies. The students helped the adults make some crafts using different materials like wood, paper, glue, markers, and stickers.
The JARC residents appreciated the visit from the Roundsquare students and the one-on-one attention they received. The students enjoyed their time at JARC. They liked helping the adults with their arts and crafts project, however, they also enjoyed sitting and chatting with the adults at KARC.
The students plan to go back to JARC in the spring.
