As part of their Unit of Inquiry - Sharing the Planet, the Kindergarten classes welcomed Ms. Patty from the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County. Students in KA, KB, and KC learned about the role of the Solid Waste Authority in terms of managing 21 million pounds of garbage, renewables, and waste in Palm Beach County. Ms Patty emphasized to students the importance of reducing, reusing, recycling, and rethinking waste.
