PreK Enjoys Special Visit From Local Police and Fire Departments

This morning, as part of their unit on transportation, PreK students enjoyed a visit from our local police and fire departments. From the police department, Sergeant Daly and Officers Vick, Casas, and Jenney showed the students some of the vehicles they use on a regular basis to support our community. With the motorcycles and SUVs, students were able to observe and understand the different tools and features of the vehicles and how they are used.

From our fire department, Inspectors Cannarozzi and Ursini brought a fire engine and explained how it would be used in the event of an emergency or community support. Students ended the visit from our local heroes by seeing the lights and movement of the motorcycles and going inside the fire engine.

We're grateful to our friends at Boca PD and the Boca Raton Fire Department for sharing their morning with us!
