Mr. Pawlik's IB Diploma Visual Arts Standard and Higher Level students enjoyed creating art outside as part of their lesson on plein-air painting. During one class the students looked for places around campus that inspired them and had a chance to visualize and sketch what they planned to paint with either oil or acrylic paints to create their pieces. The next three class periods were devoted to painting their pieces. Mr. Pawlik noted that this assignment allows the students to learn more about the process of building up layers of colors and enjoy the beauty of Saint Andrew's campus.
