On Tuesday, February 27, Symphonic Band students participated in a master class by woodwind doubler and University of Miami Music Doctoral Candidate Luis Rivera-Colon. Learn more about Mr. Rivera-Colon HERE.
Mr. Rivera-Colo worked with our Upper School Saxophone Trio, Charles Butler '24, Bryce Bertanzetti '25, and Nathaniel Levy '24, giving them performance notes based on their District Solo and Ensemble Piece, Bach Trio in Dm. He then worked with the entire Symphonic Band Saxophone Section, giving them advice on how to build a better blend and collaborate as a section as they prepare for the upcoming Music Performance Assessment.
