The Middle School Robotics team, ScotsRobotics, performed well at the First Tech Challenge robotics competition in Stuart, Florida, on December 9, 2023. Students boarded the bus at 6:30 am to arrive at the competition with their custom-built robot in tow.
"This year's challenge is one of the hardest ones we have seen on this level. Led by our amazing first-time mentor, Ms.Veronica Colteryahn, our students were engaged and excited to compete against the advanced teams that included high school students."
The Middle School robotics team #17156 ranked #8 overall. Our next competition is on January 13, where the team hopes to rank up and get into a better position to qualify to go to the state-level competition in upstate Florida.
