MS Round Square Halloween-themed Service Event at JARC

Middle School student from Saint Andrew's School engaging with resident at JARC.

On Tuesday, October 29, Middle School students in Round Square participated in a service event at JARC in Boca Raton. The students brought Halloween-themed arts and crafts to do with the residents. Alexis Gordon '31 wrote a reflection about her experience at JARC.

"It was an amazing experience because we got to work with different people. It made me so happy to see how excited they were to do crafts with us. They asked us for names and then told us theirs. We asked them what they like to do and if they were dressing up for Halloween, and one man we worked with said he was being a pirate this year. A lady I worked with made probably five or more crafts because she loved art. She also told me about her little sister who goes to Boca High. The first guy I was able to work with made a pumpkin and a cat made from felt. It made me so happy to work with them and I hope to go back next year."
