Mrs. O'Connell's grade 8 students have been seeing how they "measure up" when understanding how to use different measurement tools when finding distance, volume, mass, and density. The students worked in groups and went to various stations to complete different experiments using tools that help scientists take accurate measurements, such as measuring tapes, thermometers, scales, and graduated cylinders.
