MS IB Learner Profile Awards – Caring

This week during assembly, we recognized students selected by the grade-level teams for being students who embody the IB Learner Profile attribute of Caring. Below is the list of students and the words that were said about them by their teachers. 

 

Grade 6

Gabriel Beaubrun: Since joining the Saint Andrew's community, this student has quickly become a shining example of what it means to be caring. Whether it's helping friends navigate technology or making sure everyone in their group feels included and valued, this student consistently shows empathy, compassion, and respect. Their kindness has touched many, proving they are a true SCOT committed to making a positive difference.

Izzy Chancellor: This student exemplifies what it means to be caring at Saint Andrew's. With a full and open heart, they consistently show compassion and respect to friends, teachers, and classmates alike. Always ready to lend a hand or offer support, they have proven to be a true friend to all, making a positive difference in the lives of those around them.

 

Grade 7

Natalia Vasquez: This student exemplifies caring and compassion through her thoughtful actions and warm presence. She goes out of her way to make new students feel welcome, always greeting others with a smile and kind words. Her positivity, respect, and caring attitude toward everyone in our community make a meaningful difference.

Hunter Whyte: This student consistently demonstrates empathy, kindness, and inclusivity in everything he does. His genuine care for others is evident in how he attentively engages with everyone, always making sure those around him feel valued and happy. His caring nature makes him a positive force in our community, and his commitment to making school a welcoming place for all is truly commendable.

 

Grade 8

London Buckstein: This student has shown herself to be empathetic to the needs of those around her, taking time to support peers and teachers without asking. She shows great patience and care to both her schoolwork and the Scot community.

Jack Feldman: This student has the unique ability to make everyone he meets become a friend. He is consistently inclusive and kind, often going out of his way to include others whenever possible.
