Middle School Students Create Art Installation with Guest Artist

Middle School girls with fabric leaves they made in art class at Saint Andrew's School.

On March 31 and April 1, students had the incredible opportunity to work alongside renowned artist Magda Love in a hands-on, collaborative art workshop. Throughout the two-day experience, students helped bring a large-scale, interactive installation to life by creating wire stems, wrapping them in colorful yarns and fabrics, cutting and assembling leaves, and crafting an assortment of fabric flowers.

Their efforts will contribute to a magical, fantasy-inspired garden installation, which Magda will return to complete in May alongside Ms. Ranieri and Ms. Parrish. This immersive exhibit will transform the space into an imaginative, interactive environment for our school community to experience and enjoy.

Stay tuned for more updates as this incredible project continues to take shape!
