On Friday, March 8, 2024, the Middle School Concert Band played for master teacher Bill Castillo.
Bill Castillo was the band director at Omni Middle School for thirty years. He retired two years ago. While at Omni, Mr. Castillo's bands consistently received superior ratings at the Music Performance Assessment festival. He grew his band program to become one of the largest in Palm Beach County.
The MS concert band, under the direction of Mr. Stancampiano, played three pieces for Mr. Castillo, after which he gave them feedback to help them improve their sound. Students were focused and received the feedback graciously.
The band team would like to thank Ms. Laurie Riffe for facilitating this wonderful opportunity for our students.
