The Saint Andrew's Lower School Robotics Team, The ScotBots, recently competed in a qualifying tournament at North Broward Prep.
While there, they won the Innovation Project Award, and they were able to score 210 on the Robot Game, which was the fifth-highest score at the event. This was a 35-point improvement over their last event. In addition, Mr. Bergman took home the Mentor Award.
As a result of their performance, they finished 3rd overall and received an automatic bid to the Regional Tournament on Saturday, February 17, at Palm Beach Gardens High School. The Regional tournament consists of the top 10% of teams in South Florida.
