Lower School Students Observe Jewish High Holiday in Chickee Chapel

Dr. Panella giving pieces of bread to lower school boys for tashlich

Last week, Dr. Panella's students in grades 3–5 gathered at the Chickee Chapel to participate in the Jewish High Holiday ritual of Tashlich, observed on Rosh Hashanah.

During this meaningful tradition, students symbolically cast away their mistakes by throwing pieces of bread into the lake. It was a beautiful opportunity to reflect on the impact of our actions, take responsibility, and move forward with the intention to learn and grow.
