Leadership Boca Learns About Saint Andrew's School

Grade 5 student at Saint Andrew's school speaking to adults with Leadership Boca

Over 40 business leaders involved in Leadership Boca visited Saint Andrew's School on Wednesday, April 9, as part of the group's Education Day. The Education Day involved Leadership Boca participants visiting seven of the area's K-12 schools, community colleges, and universities.

The participants started their time at Saint Andrew's by going on a tour of the Lower School led by the grade 5 ambassadors. The students showed off classrooms, special classes, various projects within the hallways, and the playground, all while explaining what they are involved in and talking about what they love most about Saint Andrew's.

In the Cohen Center auditorium, the participants heard from Ethan Shapiro about the school and the school's strategic plan and had the opportunity to ask him questions. The visit ended with seniors Sophie Chew and Michael Tight speaking about their time at Saint Andrew's and all they have accomplished while attending the school. They also talked about their college plans and took time to answer some questions.

The business leaders spoke highly of their visit to the school and were very impressed with the student ambassadors and the two seniors who took the time to teach them more about Saint Andrew's School.
