Kindergarten Celebrates Outer Space with Rocket Launch

Kindergarten wearing bags as space helmets and watching a rocket launch

Kindergarten students celebrated the end of their space unit with a special Space Day on Thursday, February 27. The students decorated space helmets and took part in a variety of fun space-themed activities. The students were also allowed to dress up in space-themed attire including NASA t-shirts, skirts with sparkly stars, and astronaut costumes. The big moment of the day was the rocket launch. All the students sat in the football stadium stands and watched as Mr. Shriner set off a rocket. The rocket launch was a success and met with many cheers.
