I'M SAFE Halloween and Clothing Drive is a Big Success

Saint Andrew's students Jordyn and Kyle at the Fuller Center with Lisa Talley

Earlier in the week, Jordyn and Kyle Kelman, sophomores in the Upper School and the founders of I'M SAFE, picked up clothing and Halloween costumes from the Middle School and dropped them off at Fuller Center. Jordyn and Kyle decided to donate the Halloween costumes to the Fuller Center when they found out how many Fuller Center children might be unable to afford Halloween costumes this year. Both students are regular volunteers at Fuller Center.

Lisa Talley, the head of the volunteer program at Fuller Center was thrilled to receive so many wonderful costumes. In a thank you email, Ms. Talley wrote, "What a wonderful package of joy! It was a great treat to provide these costumes to our families to pick out a special outfit. Many do not have the ability to afford this special occasion."

Jordyn and Kyle hope to hold more clothing drives throughout the school year to help those in need.

Way to go, Jordyn and Kyle!
