French students recently enjoyed a trip to a local French bakery. Students had the opportunity to order food in French and practice using the language. They enjoyed delicious croissants while practicing their language skills. Dr. Anthony, who is the World Language Chair and Honors French IV teacher, explained that it is important for students to engage with their local community members, not only to practice the target language but also to understand that languages are not confined to the classroom but are all around us.
