Homecoming Spirit, Unboxed!

This year's Homecoming t-shirt design winner had the opportunity to take part in a surprise unboxing!

Mr. Jose Pozo took a box of the t-shirts to the class where the winner was currently in to open the mystery box. When she opened it, she was surprised to find that the design she submitted for the Homecoming t-shirt design contest was the one that was featured on the t-shirts. The artist behind this year's Homecoming t-shirt is Valentina Caballero Ballesteros '32! Her design was chosen out of over 100 entries from students in all three divisions. The committee that votes on the design liked that Valentina included football and cheerleading elements in her design, and they really liked her tagline, "Passion fuels Purpose," which fits in with this year's school theme. 

We look forward to seeing everyone wearing their Homecoming t-shirts with her design on Friday, October 10.
