Happy Pi(e) Day!

Mr. Rey winning the Pi Day Pie Eating Contest

Mr. Kristofer McCullough, Mathematics Department Chair, made sure that Upper School celebrated one of math's biggest holidays, March 14, also known as Pi (π) Day, with plenty of fun this year.

Upper School students came together during assembly to celebrate the mathematical marvel that is Pi (π) by taking part in fun activities, including the "Guess the Lowest Unique Integer" game, Pi Day Kahoot, and a Pi(e) Eating Contest. The winner of the Pi(e) Eating Contest would be determined by which teacher or student finished finding all ten grapes that were hidden underneath the plate of whipped cream. This year's winner was Mr. Aitor Rey.

Until next year—Happy Pi Day!
