Grade 8 Makes Science Come Alive in Assaf Hall

Students in grade 8 held a Night at the Museum-style event on Monday, October 28, and Tuesday, October 29, in Assaf Hall.

Each student picked a scientist they were interested in learning more about and then created a tri-fold board featuring information they had learned about their chosen scientist.
 

For the museum portion, each student dressed up like their specific scientist and had to stay still until visitors did a particular task to make the scientists come alive.
 

The scientists came alive when visitors did a particular task. Some of those tasks included pressing buttons, pronouncing difficult words, answering questions, or hopping like a frog.
