Grade 7 Students Test Handmade Catapults

Grade 7 students test catapults.

In Mr. Bello's Grade 7 Science class this week, students were reaching new heights as they tested out handmade catapults. They crafted fully functional catapults from scratch using everyday materials such as pencils, rubber bands, and popsicle sticks.

The multi-faceted challenge required students to design blueprints, construct their catapults, and conduct tests to achieve specific goals. Their objective? To propel objects with precision, aiming for distances of 15 feet and heights of 6 feet.

This hands-on activity not only showcased the students' creativity and engineering skills but also deepened their understanding of scientific principles in action. It was a dynamic learning experience that sparked curiosity and innovation among the young minds in Mr. Bello's class.
