Students in grade 7 have started learning about and creating their own mixed-media art pieces. Ms. Ranieri introduced the students to different artists and styles of mixed media art and then demonstrated how to use a variety of different mediums and techniques. Some of the mediums and techniques that the students had access to included fabric, paint, string, magazine clippings, and stencils. "This workshop was all about exploring techniques and combining materials to create an art piece," said Ms. Ranieri. Click here to see more photos.
