Grade 7 Mandarin Class Uses Language Skills at Local Chinese Restaurant

In the grade 7 Mandarin class, students recently immersed themselves in Chinese food and language while visiting a nearby Chinese restaurant. On Tuesday, April 16, they eagerly put their learning into action, ordering lunch directly from the menu using Mandarin. It was an empowering experience for the students to communicate with the restaurant owner in Mandarin. Beyond language practice, the highlight of the outing was savoring authentic Chinese street food, sparking excitement and delight among the students as they explored new culinary delights.
