On Tuesday, March 5, four grade 5 students set up a cookie and lemonade stand outside Mariani Great Hall. The students were working on their capstone project for the IB PYP Exhibition that will be taking place next week. This group has been researching the importance of clean water and sanitation. As a way to take some action, the students sold cookies and lemonade during lunchtime to Upper School students and faculty. The group raised $100, which they plan to donate to UNICEF, hopefully contributing to the building of a well.
