Last week, grade 5 hosted a Business Fair as their summative from the PYP Unit of Inquiry: How We Organize Ourselves. The students created a product, wrote a business plan, and created a logo to promote their business.
Students in grades 2-5 had the opportunity to buy various items in the courtyard, including friendship bracelets, milkshakes, body scrubs, customized sunglasses, baked goods, and edible slime.
Grade 5 raised close to $5000 from their businesses. The students will be choosing a charity to donate to with the money they raised at the Business Fair.
