International Peace Day corresponds very well with their current Unit of Inquiry, Who We Are, with the central idea that "Our responsibilities are influenced by the cultures of our communities." Students have been engaging with the question, "What is the responsibility of our communities to make peace?" and learning about the history and tradition of International Peace Day.
