Our Pre-K students enjoyed a special visit from Farmer Jay as part of their PYP Unit, How the World Works. Farmer Jay spoke with the students about the role of good and bad bugs in a garden and brought some of those bugs along with him for the students to hold or look at in his hand. The students were fascinated by the bugs and all that they learned and enjoyed showing off their classroom caterpillars and asking for his advice on their gardens. Each student also received a copy of the Bug Hunter Coloring Book.
