Florence Fuller Immersion Fills Hearts and Minds

Fuller Immersion volunteering

During Immersion Week, more than 40 Saint Andrew's students took part in the immersion program that involved visiting the East and West Florence Fuller Center campuses. The student volunteers spent time in various classrooms assisting teachers and connecting with students at the Fuller Academy. SA volunteers read books, colored, assisted students as they did assignments, and played on the playground. The three days spent volunteering at these two campuses have inspired some of SA's student volunteers to start the Fuller Center Volunteer Club next year. Employees from both campuses have reached out to Kelli Sanchez, Director of Global Engagement, to say how wonderful it has been to have Saint Andrew's students volunteering on campus and to remark on the remarkable impact and connection the SA volunteers have been making with the students. We are proud of our Scots for making such a positive impact in the community by participating in the Florence Fuller immersion program. Below are photos that were sent over by employees at Florence Fuller.
