On Monday, October 14, the Upper School Creative Writing class enjoyed a virtual visit from Riley Redgate. Redgate, an author of several acclaimed young adult novels, led the students through exercises in characterization and imagery for short stories. She encouraged the students to embrace the revision process, to share their writing widely, and to fight writer's block by working on several ideas at once, even if some of them never get finished.
