We were delighted to welcome beloved children’s author Kevin Lewis to campus on Monday, May 5, for a special visit with our PK through grade 2 students. Kevin, best known for his lively and engaging books such as My Truck is Stuck, The Runaway Pumpkin, and Tugga-Tugga Tugboat, led three interactive sessions tailored to each grade level group: PK-K, Grade 1, and Grade 2.
During his presentations, Kevin shared insights into his writing journey, the inspiration behind his stories, and his own love of reading. Students were captivated by his storytelling and had the special opportunity to ask questions and engage with the author directly. Each session concluded with a book signing, allowing students to take home a personalized memory of the day. It was a joyful and inspiring visit that truly brought the magic of books to life!
