Arts Priorities

Investing in Creativity

When we think about a student who is actively engaged in a classroom, an image of a student raising his/her hand to solve a math or English problem probably comes to mind. At Saint Andrew's School, that same student will have the opportunity to participate in class by holding a paintbrush, a video camera, a conductor's baton, or by reading a script at a school audition. Drama, music, and visual arts are vitally important aspects of the Saint Andrew's School Arts program.

Enhancing Funding for the Arts

In order to ensure that we educate the whole child, we must raise additional resources to support the Performing and Visual Arts. The importance of funding creative endeavors and artistic achievements of artists is a SAS tradition. It expands students' horizons and a reflects humankind’s advancements, values, and cultures.

Your gift to the Arts is more than a means to an education: it is an investment in talent, which ultimately broadens everyone’s education at SAS. To help preserve this strong community, please consider:
  • endowing a scholarship
  • setting up a planned gift, or
  • contributing to the Saint Andrew’s Annual Fund and designating it to “the Arts.”
