SA is a Place of Discovery...
Teachers inspire students to discover their passions and encourage them to have the discipline and courage to pursue them. For every Scot’s unique interest, there’s a corresponding organization, club, or association. Middle School students have discovered that they can make a difference by providing clean access to water in Uganda. Just this week, Upper School students are traveling to a Ted-Ed conference make discoveries about their TED skills. SA’s curriculum includes passion-specific offerings so that students can determine what they love and then study it in-depth. If students what to be the first chair in violin in an orchestra, they can practice in our extraordinary ensemble. If they want to become a world traveler, they can join an immersion trip to China and immerse themselves in the culture and language.

SA is a Place of Achievement...
There are many ways Scot recognize and measure achievement at Saint Andrew’s School. Saint Andrew's School is an IB World School, which enables high achievement throughout our JK-12 school. Middle School students participate in the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), an academic framework that encourages students to embrace and understand the connections between traditional subjects and the real world and to become analytical and reflective thinkers. At Saint Andrew’s Upper School, Saint Andrew’s is proud to recognize 10 members from the Class of 2019 who have been named as Commended Students in the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program. Commended Students are recognized for their exceptional academic promise demonstrated by their outstanding performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).

SA is a Place of Balance...
For Middle School students, balance starts with forging strong personal connections with teachers and peers. In a setting where Middle School students feel nurtured to explore their social-emotional strengths, they confidently venture from dependence to independence in and out of the classroom. By the time Scots reach Upper School, they’ve mastered the rhythm of balance: study, explore, branch out, push yourself, give yourself a break. Then start all over again. Balance means pursuing the arts in addition to math and humanities courses. Just like students in Mr. Ron Garrett’s Studio Foundations class who designed sculptural airplanes on exhibit at the Boca Raton Airport.
