Boys Cross Country Claims District Title; Girls Finish Fourth

The boys and girls cross country teams competed in the Class 2A - District 14 meet today at home. The boys claimed the district championship title and the girls placed fourth. Both teams advanced to the regional meet for a chance to compete in the State Championships. The boys were led by ninth grade student Ian Noble who finished third. Noble was supported by Tristan Moss (8th Place), John Moroney (9th Place), Gregory Kovacs (10th Place), Nate Gramentine (13th Place), Kostandino Deligiannis, Ignacio De la Torre, Hugh Notman and Derek Fletcher.

Ninth grader Ellie Tymorek captured the first place medal for the girls. Tymorek was supported by Zitong Chen, Alessandra Arrigone, Sofia Collard, Abigail Wandoff, Katherine Gull, India Patel and Victoria Carbone.

Congratulations to both teams and good luck in the Regional Meet which will be held at Tradewinds Park on November 3. Go Scots!
