Saint Andrew’s is a lot more than an academic institution. It’s a vibrant community for all our students and families and a home for our resident students and faculty. There are plenty of afternoon and evening activities available for all our students and numerous clubs and organizations that match their interests. From art performances to athletic events, there is always something to do at Saint Andrew’s School. Your child will be genuinely excited and honored to be part of the Scots Community.

Community Service

Saint Andrew’s strives to educate globally-minded, compassionate students and servant leaders. We expect our students to build relationships with local and broader communities in order to become responsible citizens and to make an impact in the lives of others. Community service is an integral part of a Saint Andrew’s education and is encouraged across divisions with age-appropriate and far-reaching programs that instill selfless giving and action.

Round Square

As part of our commitment to bring a global emphasis to our core curriculum, Saint Andrew's School is a world member of the Round Square organization.

Our membership in the Round Square organization takes our mission of educating students in mind, body, and spirit to a new level. Round Square is a worldwide association of more than 180 schools in five continents that share a unique and ambitious commitment to personal development and responsibility. This is achieved as students participate in community service, exchange programs, and conferences, which often take them halfway around the world. In 2013, Saint Andrew’s School was proud to host the Round Square International Conference. In 2016, our school hosted the 50th anniversary celebration of the organization.

THE ROUND SQUARE "IDEALS" INCLUDE SIX PILLARS:

Internationalism

Students learn to see themselves as global citizens and to look beyond gender, class, race, nationality, and culture to understand human nature.

Adventure

Schools offer activities that foster a spirit of adventure and allow students to discover that they are capable of more than they might have imagined.

Democracy

Freedom of thought and speech is greatly encouraged and appropriate forums and channels of communication are set in place.

Leadership

Students learn that true leadership is serving others and is found in those whose convictions are rooted in personal responsibility, kindness, and justice.

Environmentalism

Students learn about the fine balance needed to maintain a healthy interdependent relationship between human beings and the planet.

Service

Students come face-to-face with the plight of those in most need around the world and discover how they can make a positive and sustainable difference through service.

Immersion

Saint Andrew’s School is proud to offer an Immersion Program as part of our mission to educate passionate, balanced, and confident students of character as they deep-dive into a discipline of their choosing. These immersive experiences help create life skills such as independence, resourcefulness, resilience, and responsibility. Furthermore, they offer our students the opportunity to take on new challenges, reach beyond their comfort zones, and follow passions while discovering new interests. Learn more about how your child will benefit from Immersion.

Clubs

Whether writing for a literary magazine, raising awareness for a cause, learning about a culture, coding, pursuing interests in mathematics or robotics, our students discover there is something for everyone at Saint Andrew’s.

Saint Andrew’s offers students a wide range of opportunities for extracurricular participation. We believe that clubs and activities help students expand their horizons and explore their academic, personal, and professional potential. They enable students to sharpen crucial skills and develop knowledge and talents outside the classroom. These student-driven collaborative activities are a great platform for leadership training and render involvement as important as results. They allow students to be stimulated by new ideas and ways of thinking, provide a sense of accomplishment, and encourage team spirit.

Elite Athletes & Artists

Whether a student is an equestrian, a dancer, golfer, or tennis player, Saint Andrew’s School welcomes a group of exceptional students who excel at a variety of disciplines. Their outstanding talents may require them to adhere to rigorous training and competition programs.

Dining at Saint Andrew's School

We know how important food is to a great school experience. Our day and resident students enjoy an exciting dining program provided by a renowned dining service. Students and faculty come together at Mariani Great Hall and our other dining halls to enjoy delicious meals and one another’s company. Outside of dining hours, resident students have access to healthy meals provided by our campus cafe.

The talented chefs from SAGE Dining Services have transformed dining at Saint Andrew’s School into a daily culinary adventure. Our students are treated to fresh food cooked daily. Our menus offer a wide selection of choices based on the fresh seasonal products available in the market. A team of registered dietitians reviews and approves each menu to ensure that it offers a wide variety of nutritious choices and international cuisine.

Our dining program has even been featured in Food Management Magazine.
