The school is located in a residential area in the central part of Boca Raton. The city, familiarly known to locals by its first name "Boca," truly has it all. Beaches and golf courses; universities and colleges; international businesses; 39 parks, fine hotels and wondrous art museums (and the Festival of the Arts BOCA); jazz clubs and concerts at Mizner Park; the glittery Town Center at Boca Raton shopping mall, with 220 upscale and elite specialty shops; and, elsewhere around town, countless family-owned boutiques. And let's not forget fine restaurants, some of the best in the south. After all, Boca is located in The Palm Beach and, more to the point, in the heart of Florida's Atlantic Ocean Coast.

Saint Andrew’s School is an equal opportunity employer and maintains a drug-free workplace. All employees must successfully maintain an acceptable Level II criminal background check. Saint Andrew’s School may, in its discretion, modify or adjust the position to meet the school’s changing needs.
Opportunities for Major Faculty Awards

The Patten Family Foundation Grant for Sustaining Teacher Excellence ($10,000)
This grant recognizes outstanding faculty (one from each division) who promote intellectual curiosity and active learning, model and foster academic rigor, and demonstrate effectiveness as teachers.  The award is a monetary stipend and an additional stipend to be used to support a professional or scholarly activity that will enhance their teaching within their chosen discipline.

George E. Andrews Excellence in Teaching Chair ($10,000)
The Honoree must be a member of the Upper School teaching faculty who exemplifies excellence in the classroom and whose proposal to the Selection Committee exemplifies the standards of excellence the Chair represents.

The Patten Family Foundation Exemplary Leadership Award ($10,000)
Honors a member of the faculty, staff, or administration who, by example, has positively impacted the school through demonstrated stewardship of the school’s mission.  This award honors those who, over a period of years, have made a real difference in the lives of others; have brought honor to themselves, their colleagues, and their profession; and have made a significant contribution by setting an example for others to follow.

Cecilia and Gary Peters Endowment Fund for Professional Learning ($5,000)
One of the goals of 21st-century educators is to inspire students to be lifelong learners; educators should also be passionate lifelong learners themselves. The educational environment is changing at an ever-increasing rate in the use and application of educational technology, innovation, and creativity. Established in 2017 by Cecilia and Gary Peters, this endowed fund provides financial resources to support faculty professional learning opportunities. The Peters recognize that children are born ready, eager, and able to learn and that great results are possible through the use of compelling, creative, and imaginative teaching techniques. Cecilia and Gary believe that passionate teachers who have been reenergized and stimulated through well-deserved and meaningful enrichment opportunities are best equipped to promote active and enthusiastic learning among students.
